Falalala

Photos of DH and I, Christmas 2014. For the past few years we've been having our Christmas Day alone as the kids have their own Christmas and don't have to travel that day. They can just spend the day with their little ones. DH and I get to enjoy our peaceful, relaxing day and then have our get together with the kids and all our sweet grandkids on a different day. With our own kids I remember years of rushing to open our gifts then running to 2 different grandparents' homes and it was just a rushed day. I don't want that for our grandkids.

I used -
Pink Paislee 'Yuletide' pp's, Puffy Stickers, Sequins
Heidi Swapp Chipboard Accents

Based on Sketch #461 from Scrapbook Challenges.

This is also for the December Journaling Challenge at

Thanks for Looking!

  1. We stayed home a few years when our kids were younger but like to visit sometimes now that the boys are older. In the case of Jeff's dad, we worry about how many more Christmas he will be around. But, it still doesn't always work out. Both sets of grandparents are so far away that one overnight is required. This year we couldn't get a dog sitter. Anyhow, I wonder what it will be like when we are empty nesters. Your Christmas looks romantic! Do you use a photo timer or remote to get both in?

    1. Janine, yes the camera has a photo timer. We use it often. MIL has her get together on Christmas Eve and my Mom usually has hers near New Years. We try to all have celebrations on different days. They are both away from here by an hour.
