The Luau

Born To Run

Don't Bug Me!

We've been to Mexico many times before, but while at the Riviera Maya we stayed at the Sandos Caracol Eco-Resort. We didn't realize it would be so totally surrounded by tropical rainforest. All the paths were surrounded by trees, brush, and even swamps. Which is the perfect breeding ground for mosquitos. They never sprayed for bugs or anything either. We used repellant in the evening but not walking back to the room from the beach in the afternoon. Mosquitos like me and I ended up with many mosquito bites. (October 2015)
