Here's my take on the sketch shown below from Sassy Lil' Sketches.  I don't have a circle cutter, but found this circle paper from Girls' Paperie to use. This is also for Challenge #19 at the Apron Strings Blog, using a photo of trees along with blue & white in my color scheme.

"Colorful Tropical Caterpillar"

Photo from Dominica, March 2010 cruise. At nearly the end of our tour we got to see this exotic looking caterpillar that our tour guide found. Such a beautiful sight and I could watch it crawling on her hands, but not something I wanted to touch! I'm always interested in the different creatures and things we get to explore on our trips.

This is for Croppy Summer Assignment #5 over at the Apron Strings Blog, using only patterned paper and cardstock! I dug into my Fancy Pants 'On A Whimsy' line since it included a title tag and journal tag.  The quote says....."dream more than others think is practical."

For the Croppy Summer Assignment #2 over at the Apron Strings Blog, using 3 different types of alphabet fonts. I used acrylic letters, glitter chipboard alphas, and sticker alphas. Also used up some SEI 'Poppy' scraps here.

Birthday Traditions

Kaylee's Great Grandma has a wonderful birthday tradition of sending out a few older photos along with her birthday card each year. She does this with all the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids and everyone loves it. It's interesting to see what photos she'll send! Photos are from 2001, 2002, 2003. I like to keep the birthday card too and she can still open it to read it.
