My grandkids are always playing dressup it seems! LOL  This is youngest granddaughter Lucy playing recently. This is for the "5 on Friday" Challenge at the Apron Strings Blog, using 2 sheets of cardstock, 2 sheets of double-sided patterned paper, 1 set of wordy stickers.  I also used the October Apron Strings Kit featuring Lily Bee 'Domestic Bliss'.

Christmas Elf!

Photos of youngest granddaughter Lucy having fun with the ornaments while we decorated our tree last year.  Based on the November 18th sketch at Sketchy Thursdays. This is also for the Tuesday Sundae Challenge at the Apron Strings Blog. I used the SEI 'Christmas Mint' line along with some Making Memories accents.

October School Pocket Page

For the Monday's Piles, Tuesday's Inspiration challenge at the Apron Strings Blog, using only scraps and things on my scrappy desk. I was working with the Studio Calico Kit and had some alphas and pearls laying around and made up this pocket page for DGD Kaylee for a few of her October papers. Trying to make one up for each month this school year!

Family Easter

Group photo of my grandkids on Easter. Sometimes it's so difficult to get everyone to look at the same time! LOL  This is for the Croptoberfest Day 10 over at the Apron Strings Blog, incorporating a new technique. I've never tried the little curled papers so tried that here. Ended up with lots of sticky fingers and not sure I'd try it again, but I like trying new things! 

This is also based on The Scrappiest Sketch #87. What a fun sketch to play with! I also used the October kit from The ScrapRoom, featuring Crate 'Restoration' papers.

My Triumph Over Cancer!

This was for a BOM challenge over at The ScrapRoom today.

Photo was at a 'Celebration of Life' Party my MIL & FIL surprised me with, Sept 2004. This page is about my battle with cancer over 6 years ago and my feelings since then on the tucked in journal paper with the heart clip. I used some wonderful new Crate 'Restoration' papers and chipboard accents from my ScrapRoom October Kits along with lots of fun goodies!

I've been scrapping for over 10 years and first started when we were expecting our first granddaughter. Thought it would be wonderful to preserve the memories along with the photos for her.

            Here's a card I made with the September Fancy Pants Kit which features the 'My Family' line.
